Redwood Personalized Plaque

A young bride contacted me desiring a plaque that reflected the Wedding Vows from their wedding
in celebration of a first anniversary. This is not uncommon work for me. However this was not a common
wedding. The happy couple was married in Eureka California under the Redwood trees in a Native American
Ceremony. I found the words extraordinary and touching. I found a picture of the Redwoods of Eureka
California and I turned this into a black and white sketch. I then turned the sketch into a wood etching
reminiscent of an old wood carving. I like these wood etchings. They remind me of lithographs, once
used for printing.

My customer stated; “Wow, this is absolutely gorgeous! It feels like I am back in the red woods all
over again. Thank you so much for making this. Words cannot even express my gratitude for how amazing
