Personalized Declaration of Independence Plaque

I wanted to try to reproduce the Declaration of Independence for a long time. This
is a large handwritten document. It is also quite old. This makes it difficult to get
a good engraving. I decided to go with a finer lens to get as small a spot size as
possible. I was very excited when a client contacted me stating they had seen a laser
engraving at the Monticello museum and wanted me to make one for them. This was my
opportunity to dive into large document plaques. I have since made several and I am
hopeful that the Monticello museum considers my work. This was done a very rare
15″ x 18″ piece of curly cherry.
